Our Story

We first crossed paths as kids growing up in Galway, but it wasn't until the world slowed down during COVID that fate properly stepped in. What started as early morning sea swims in Blackrock and the founding of "The Dip Club" with friends soon turned into late night parties — and one of those nights, a first kiss that changed everything.

Since then we've swapped the Atlantic for London life, but Galway has never been far from our hearts. On May 4th, back where it all began in Blackrock, Salthill, Mark got down on one knee and asked Ciara to marry him.

From sea swims to city streets, we can't wait to bring everyone together in Adare to celebrate the next chapter. Thank you for being part of our story.

Travel & Accommodation

Accommodation

The Dunraven Arms is now fully booked for the wedding weekend.

There are plenty of B&Bs and Airbnbs in Adare village itself. Nearby towns such as Limerick City (16km), Rathkeale (10km) and Patrickswell (10km) also have great options and are a short taxi ride away. We recommend booking early as Adare is popular in summer.

Getting to Adare

Adare is located on the N21, approximately 16km from Limerick City.

Shannon Airport is the nearest airport, about 40 minutes away.

On the Day

The church and reception venue are both in Adare village, a short walk apart.

Taxis can be arranged for the evening.
